HGTV Article
Take a look at The Outdoor Lights news spread from HGTV! The Outdoor Lights was featured in the article along with Mary Palmer Dargan, a nationally recognized Landscape Architect, discussing the beauty and functionality of landscape/garden lighting. The particular focus was on our garden spheres which serve as an attractive lawn piece in the daytime and illuminate the landscape at night. They can be used almost anywhere including pools and ponds. Click on the link below to read the entire article.

Trout Fishing at Blackberry Farm
I am all about outdoor lighting but that doesn't keep me from one of my favorite hobbies, Trout Fishing! I took some time off while working up in Walland, Tennessee to go fishing at Blackberry Farm. Walland has good people, beautiful landscapes and some of the bast fishing holes in the South. I invite everyone to dig out their fishing poles from the garage and enjoy. Now all I need are some hushpuppies...

Shutze Home
We recently finished installing lights on a home designed by Philip Trammell Shutze (1890-1982). During his career, Shutze was known as America's greatest living classical architect and he designed Atlanta's most luxurious homes and buildings for over 40 years. Schutze was best known for bringing European elegance in his designs to Atlanta and the home above is typical of his "sun-drenched" walls that stems from Italian architecture. He was truly an artist and we were proud to install a system that will showcase this home's beauty and discernment!

Fun with our new truck!
We were having lots of fun testing out our new truck and trencher we recently bought. Our sales manager, Ricky, looks like a pro handling this machine and we can't wait to have the truck detailed and logo'ed. Both of these purchases will make installations easier and more efficient. Just one more way The Outdoor Lights is providing superior materials and service!

St. George's Island
I have the best job in the world! Not only does it take me to some beautiful residences, environments, etc. I get to enjoy all that mother nature has to offer when she puts on a display of cotton candy colored clouds mimicked by the water. This is a picture of the sunrise from St. George's Island, located just off the Flordia peninsula. We were down here seeing about a project but I must stop and enjoy these scenic moments!

After the Storm
Just thought I would share TOL's dedication to our customers! These are pictures of one of our service trucks at Blackberry Farms in Tennessee after a storm last week. It got a little scary but we were able to make it over the creek that had flooded and to our next job. A big thanks to our crew members who work tirelessly in hazardous conditions to provide The Outdoor Lights' clientele with the best possible service!

TOL on the Job
Who says installing outdoor lights is all work and no play? While 2 of our crew members, Hector and James, were installing underwater lights by a nearby fountain, their crew leader decided to give them a little wake up call by turning on the water! Of course, it was the funniest to the 2 crew members standing on dry land but Hector and James took the prank in stride! I'm glad our team enjoys the work they do and we have some of the best employees around.

Art at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens
I am glad we have been so busy but I have missed keeping up with our blog! So I thought I would share this beautiful fountain sculpture with our readers. Chuhullie is an amazing artist and lunch out here at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens was the perfect way to spend a FINALLY sunny afternoon. The Outdoor Lights has partnered with the ABG on several occassions and it is always a real treat. I love that my position allows me to witness all that artistry, architecture and nature has to offer!
